"ROBOTS" Playing @ The Tech
From the creators of "Ice Age" comes "ROBOTS," a clever and heartwarming animated feature that pushes the boundaries of animation. "ROBOTS" introduces characters rich with the whimsy, heart and soul. Among the population of this incredible universe are Rodney, a young genius inventor who dreams of making the world a better place, and Cappy, an executive robot with whom Rodney is smitten. The voice cast includes Ewan McGregor, Mel Brooks, Halle Berry and Robin Williams.

Tech Challenge Test Trials Saturdays
Every Saturday through April 23 and also on Tuesday, April 26, Tech Challenge teams are invited to test their design on the official challenge rig, ask more questions of the judges and see other teams' works in progress. No reservations are required, and teams are encouraged to attend as many trials as they can. Trials are from 1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

"Mystery of the Nile" Opens April 1
From the makers of "Everest" comes a breathtaking cinematic expedition down the world's greatest and most deadly river, the Blue Nile. For 114 days, a team of explorers led by Pasquale Scaturro and Gordon Brown faced seemingly insurmountable challenges as they made their way along all 3,260 miles of the river to become the first in history to complete a full descent of the Blue Nile from source to sea. Catch the history, the scenery and the action as only IMAX can deliver.

Girl Scout Day at the Tech Sunday April 17
Earn a "Music Fan" (Juniors) or "Sounds of Music" (Brownies) badge by seeing our film – "Pulse: A Stomp Odyssey" and completing activities within our new "Amazing Music Studio" exhibit, which lets guests rehearse, compose, listen and be on stage! Free Wireless Internet Access @ The Tech's Café Primavera
Grab a bite to eat and check your email at Café Primavera in The Tech's lobby. Hungry museum-goers, downtown workers and convention attendees can nosh on delicious sandwiches and healthy salads while getting the latest news on their laptops or PDAs.


"Amazing Music Studio" Open Through May 15
"Amazing Music Studio" is a new temporary exhibit that explores the science and fun of making music. Step up to make your own music on an oversized floor-keyboard, sing & dance on a stage, and karaoke in the shower. Also test your skills at a DJ mixing table, and by creating a light and sound show. "Amazing Music Studio" mixes playful and thoughtful hands-on activities to show that music is as much about technology as it is talent.

"NetPl@net" - A New Tech Gallery Now Open
This new hands-on, permanent gallery will inspire visitors to use the Internet in unique new ways, and to dream up the next internet innovation! Participate in a Virtual Arm Wrestle using haptic technology, express yourself by publishing and posting a web site, take a tour around the globe with our amazing world-wide webcams, and so much more. Extend your visit online at home with a TechTag bracelet!


"Pulse: A Stomp Odyssey" Now Playing
"Pulse: A Stomp Odyssey"explores rhythm across varied continents and cultures – guided by the internationally acclaimed performers of the stage hit STOMP. Tour the world to meet artists such as Timbalada of Brazil, the Kodo drummers of Japan, the American Indian Dance Theater, and the Jackie Robinson Steppers of New York. "Pulse: A Stomp Odyssey" was voted Best Film of the Year at the recent Giant Screen Theater Conference in Montreal.

"Forces of Nature" Now Playing
Experience the blood pumping action when the ground shakes, mountains explode and the sky turns black and violent in "Forces of Nature" . Narrated by Kevin Bacon, this film showcases three scientists striving to understand the origins and behavior of natural disasters -- putting their own lives in danger in the process.
