This holiday season, The Tech Museum is doing its part to help collect food for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo counties, which is fighting a steep decline in donations this year.
Receive a free ticket to STAR TREK®: THE EXHIBITION
for each select grocery bag of four to six items made up of high-quality, high-protein items such as tuna, soups, chili, or canned fruits and vegetables, low-sugar cereals, and fruit juices. Though the donations are being accepted this week, Star Trek
tickets are valid for the entire run of the exhibition.
All food donations will be turned over to the food bank, which has seen record requests for assistance even as its stock has dwindled because of the economic downturn. Every month, more than 216,000 people in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties rely on the food bank to help feed themselves and their families.
With your donation, you receive free entry to the blockbuster exhibition, which brings together the original costumes, genuine props and authentic recreations of sets from all five Star Trek television series and 11 Star Trek
feature films, including the new box office smash hit. The exhibition, in town for a limited engagement, is spread across 15,000-square-feet and features more than 200 artifacts.
Museum visitors receive one free ticket to STAR TREK®: THE EXHIBITION
with every bag of select groceries collected for the Second Harvest Food Bank
