"Leonardo" Engineers a Major Announcement for The Tech Museum of Innovation

The Tech's extraordinary world premiere "Leonardo: 500 Years into the Future" has been the talk of the Bay Area since its late September opening. So far, more than 90,000 visitors have made plans to marvel at the exhibit's hands-on, interactive machines, gaze at two original Renaissance paintings and gape at the iconic, 24-foot tall Sforza Horse. As the blockbuster exhibit - which makes its only U.S. stop in San Jose - is scheduled to come to a close January 4th 2009, one of the world's most innovative thinkers - or at least someone doing a darn good impression - swirls into The Tech on a Segway with an eye-popping decree. WHO: "Leonardo" - traveling via Segway - rolls to The Tech to share a surprise announcement with Mayor Chuck Reed and Tech President Peter Friess, among others.
