Oktoberfest meets Science at The Tech Museum of Innovation
After Hours bash to feature beer, explosions and more
SAN JOSE, CA – If it’s Oktoberfest, there must be a beer blast on tap. Once again, Gordon Biersch, the Bay Area’s largest brewery, is hosting “Science of Suds” at The Tech’s monthly 21-and-older bash, After Hours.
Guests can try their hands at a “foam explosion,” mixing a potent concoction of detergent, yeast and hydrogen peroxide to a foamy plume blast. Beer enthusiasts can try their beer chops in our Trivial Pursuit-styled game “Test Your Beer Knowledge.” Or rock out with special guest DjKomodo.
Each month provides an exclusive and fun setting of music, games, hands-on exhibits, and more. Explore the entire museum with other adults under moody lighting and music as you play a bevy of giant games, discover more about science and technology, or just relax and have fun with friends.
After Hours, Oktoberfest celebration with host Gordon Biersch, DjKomodo. Oktoberfest is held annually in Munich, Germany, and more than 6 million people from around the world attend
