Invention @ Play Opens June 3
Explore the playful side of invention and the inventive side of play. Tinker in the Invention Playhouse and peruse artifacts and real stories to see how play fosters creativity in real inventors. This temporary exhibit will be at The Tech through September 5.
IDEA House Opens June 17
A 2,500 square foot space filled with exciting activities to spark your ingenuity all summer long! Create unique devices in this house setting to make everyday tasks more exciting and creative. Deliver snacks from the kitchen to the couch, design a contraption to fling a ball for "Fido", and create fun foam sculptures in the backyard. Take home an IDEA Kit to continue the fun at your own house. IDEA House will be at The Tech through September 5.

Paintings and Sculpture by Artist Karl Momen
Works by internationally renowned Bay Area Artist Karl Momen are now on free display in The Tech's New Venture Hall. This multi-medium show features painting, sculpture, and a special triptych of paint on silk-screened aluminum that symbolizes the highly structured world of modern technology. Long fascinated by the tension between man and machine, Momen uses geometric shapes to depict a universe of balanced forces. Don't miss this special exhibition.
