The Tech Museum of Innovation, one of the nation's premier science and technology museums, today announced that tickets now are on sale for the upcoming BODY WORLDS 2 & The Three Pound Gem, Gunther von Hagens' Anatomical Exhibition of Real Human Bodies, presented by The Health Trust. Tickets for this first Northern California showing of the world-renowned exhibit about human anatomy, physiology and health are available to members of The Tech now and will go on sale to the general public starting July 2. Exhibit hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. every day during the four-month run except Christmas Day, with last entry at 7:30 p.m. All tickets to the exhibit are timed at 15-minute intervals. Tickets to BODY WORLDS also include full admission to The Tech's exhibits. IMAX movies will be sold separately. For the first time in the history of the exhibition, BODY WORLDS will present The Three Pound Gem, a special feature on the brain inspired by findings in neuroscience on brain development and function, brain disease and disorders, and brain performance and improvement. In connection with BODY WORLDS 2 & The Three Pound Gem, The Tech will be featuring the relevant and educational IMAX movies "The Human Body" and "Wired to Win."
