
Where Art Meets Technology: “Resolution,” to be unveiled at The Tech Museum of Innovation as part of the 2012 ZERO1 Biennial Celebration of Media Art
SAN JOSE, CA – Join The Tech Museum Wednesday, Sept. 12 when it formally reveals its newest permanent exhibit “Resolution,” and hear from renowned artists Jamie Zigelbaum and Marcelo Coelho during a special reception.
“Resolution” fuses digital technologies to let visitors program objects and create new kinds or art. Commissioned by the museum, the one-of-kind interactive artwork, uses 200 magnetic, dazzling pixels that visitors can reshape and rearrange to create an ever-changing flow of dynamic, lighted patterns.
The artists, known as Zigelbaum + Coelho, will share their thoughts on the how new modes of interaction are enabling us to play important roles in the computation and communication process.
