The Tech Museum maintains several programs which provide individuals and groups assistance with admission costs.
Open Access Policy
Admission fees support the mission of The Tech Museum and our educational programs and activities. Fees, however, should not be a barrier to participation or access to the educational exhibits in our galleries. If you cannot afford the full admission fee, please see the staff at the Ticketing counter in the center of our lobby at the start of your visit. This does not include special exhibits or IMAX Theater admission. This offer is for individuals. If you have a group of 10 or more you need to make a reservation in advance. Please call 408-294-TECH (8324).
Public Library Pass Program
The Tech Museum, in collaboration with the San Jose and Santa Clara Public Libraries systems, has a pass program that offers significantly reduced prices for museum galleries admission. This does not include special exhibits or IMAX Theater admission. Go to the San Jose and Santa Clara Public Libraries for more information and to pick up passes. Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
