10:00 am - 12:00 pm
In this program, Cadettes will try on the many hats of a Special Agent! To begin, Cadettes will investigate the investigation techniques of a fingerprint analyst by analyzing and comparing fingerprints.  Next, they will practice the art of forensic drawing by sketching a “suspect” as described by a “key witness.”  Finally, Cadettes try their hands at forensic chemistry to identify an ink stain found at a crime scene.

Programs
10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Test Trials provide teams with the opportunity to test their device in a simulated competitive environment. During the trials, teams are allowed to test their device on an actual rig used on event day. Volunteer judges are on hand to help simulate the competition and assist in the learning process.

Due to the overwhelming demand for Test Trials, please sign up for a specific time slot to use the rigs.
Walk-ins are welcome if space permits.

Programs
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Science is all around us! Brownies begin by exploring the “hair-raising” properties of static electricity through everyday objects such as balloons and Ping-Pong balls. Next, they will make something bubble up using every day pantry items to inflate a balloon.  Finally, Brownies will learn how science can be used to make toys by making their very own silly putty!
