Free California Teacher Membership Program!
Teacher Memberships are available to all K-12 public, private, home school teachers, principals, currently working in a California school district.
We invite you to become a member of our learning community and find a professional "home" here at The Tech Museum. Ultimately, we hope you join us in promoting learning through design and innovation as part of your professional practice.
As a Teacher Member you'll receive the following privileges:
- Free year-round admission to The Tech Museum's exhibit galleries for the teacher named on the card
- Discount on IMAX films
- Member's only events including exhibit openings, summer and winter parties, and periodic IMAX screenings.
- Special exhibition discounts
- Free subscription to The Tech Museum's e-newsletters
- 10% Discount at The Tech Store, The Café Primavera, and The IMAX Concessions
- 10% Discount at The Tech Café
- Free online education resources
Teacher Memberships are non-transferable and benefits are valid only for the teacher named on the card.
To sign up as a Teacher member, visit The Tech Museum and go to the Membership Desk. Please identify yourself as a California teacher and you will be given a form to fill out. Once the form is submitted, you will be issued a membership.
Onsite registration is required for the Free Teacher Membership Program. This membership is not available by phone, by mail, or online. You must present valid teaching credentials or R4 form for home school teachers when you register to be eligible for the free membership. Teacher member benefits are not transferable and are valid only for the person named on the card.
