Do you have what it takes to be a Tech Detective? Juniors begin by sharpening their observation skills through brain-challenging puzzles. Next, they learn how to obtain and analyze fingerprints from a crime scene. Finally, Juniors learn about DNA — what it is, what it does and how it helps solve crimes. They then get to perform an experiment to extract real DNA!

Girl Scouts-Special Agent
Special Agent badge
In this program Cadettes will try on the many hats of a special agent. To begin, Cadettes will learn the investigation techniques of a fingerprint analyst by examining and comparing fingerprints. Next, they’ll practice the art of forensic drawing by sketching a “suspect” as described by a “key witness.” Finally, Cadettes try their hands at forensic chemistry to identify an ink stain found at a crime scene.
