Young Makers Plussing Sessions

January 12
2:00

Young Makers get together monthly to share their innovations for Maker Faire. Plussing Sessions allow project teams to share their in-progress projects. This is a great chance to meet other Makers and learn more about becoming part of Young Makers of the South Bay.

Maker Workshops and Meet-the-Maker talks are free for Young Makers but space is limited. We recommend pre-registering to reserve your space for any of these events you'd like to attend along with the Plussing Session.

MythBusters

MythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition, just like Discovery Channel's Emmy-nominated series, will uncover the truth behind popular myths by mixing scientific method with curiosity to create hands-on experiences for guests of all ages.

Maker Workshops

January 12

Maker Workshop: Robots
Makers Anne Mayoral and Chris Myers lead their SpinBots workshop, where you'll make robots that create spinning artistic masterpieces. SpinBots are made with laser-cut parts, zip ties and surplus/recycled motors. The robots spin in circles, so with pens to their legs they draw gorgeous patterns.

Registration for Maker Workshops is free but requires a paid admission to The Tech.*

*Young Makers registered for Plussing Sessions get free museum admission.
