The Tech Challenge Gallery
This Gallery will highlight The Tech Challenge and basic principles of fundamental science and the building blocks for technology. There are 20 on-going hands-on science experiments which teach the essential principles. Each exhibit has one video explaining the basic science behind fundamental laws of nature. Examples include: how magnets work, making a battery, designing a pump, and using a pulley, subjects which are part of the curriculum standards for Northern California.
The Tech Silicon Valley Innovation Gallery
Through compelling interactive experiences this gallery will showcase the amazing range of Silicon Valley technological innovation and creativity. Experience the latest trends from Silicon Valley that shape our lives and our future - technologies that enable us to communicate easily and that put creativity in the hands of the individual. Be in touch with technology supporting the digital media arts as well as technologies that have changed how the world creates, communicates, lives, works and plays.
The Tech Innovation at Play Gallery
This gallery connects the dots between fun and innovation. Visitors learn how to collaborate, test ideas, and see things from a different perspective. This gallery also teaches the power of trying, failing, learning, and trying again--working and playing toward the next great invention.
Green Garage
Transportation is undergoing a shocking change—from gasoline fuel to electric power. See some of the latest electric vehicles in our new exhibit space, “The Green Garage.” The garage houses a plug-in motorcycle, an electric pick-up truck, a modern 3-wheeled dune buggy, and even one of the first electric vehicles, the 1898 Baker Electric. Outside the garage is a charging station that provides the power to make these cars go.
