Zack's Snack Contraption
Zack broke his leg and it's hard for him to get around. Nobody wants to wait on him hand and foot, so build a wacky contraption that will get a snack from the kitchen to Zack. Just for fun, make your machine as complicated as you'd like so that Zack has to wait for his snack.
Rainbow Light Table
Compose your own creative design using light, shapes, and colors. Use a light table, magnetic tiles, and transparent blocks to create colorful geometric patterns and 3-D structures.
Bug Puppets
Technology gives a new twist to one of the oldest forms of play-using puppets to make up characters and stories. Take a picture of your face, combine it with a silly bug body and project the composite image onto a screen on a wall. Talking through a voice distorter and using a puppet as a controller, you can put on a show, make your puppet dance, walk, talk and interact with other visitors' puppets.
Shadow Garden
This computer program controls how projected images react to your shadow, but you decide the rules of the game. Walk in front of a projector and cast a shadow on a big screen. Images on the screen respond to the shadows. Virtual butterflies settle on the stillest shadows and sand collects in the shadow of a cupped hand.
Maraca Motion
Music from a video screen begins when you pick up a pair of maracas. Score points in the game by shaking your maracas to the beat, but also score with the crowd with smooth dance steps and creative new moves.
