Filters and Dyes
Some materials let certain colors pass through and absorb other colors.
These materials are called dyes or pigments.
Red dye in a piece of plastic makes a red filter.
It grabs the blue and green light and lets the red light pass through.
Naturally, you can filter other colors besides white. |
