There are many ways to mix lights so our
cones
and brain see the same color.
For example, you could mix some dyes together to get just the color you want.
Your friend could use a completely different mixture and still get the same
color.
But there's a surprise. Sometimes colors that look the same under a regular
light bulb will look very different under a fluorescent lamp.
