Scientists are interested in finding sequences of DNA that control diseases. So far, scientists have only found a few sequences that cause illnesses such as breast cancer, colon cancer and Huntington's Disease. Those sequence hunters have been fairly lucky. Finding a sequence can be more difficult than finding a needle in a haystack.
