Dance Dance Revolution

Dance Dance Revolution is a commercial arcade game and a PlayStation2 game that scores you on how well you "dance". And, the game is FUN!

The game is almost as compelling to watch as it is to play. As the music plays, arrows on the screen signal you to step on the right sensors on the floor at the right time. You can play alone or side-by-side. This game applies rules to a generally free-form activity: dancing. But, the game only scores what your feet do—not your arms. There are no points for style—only accuracy. Underground DDR tournaments emphasize style as well as scores, either with separate competitions for performance, or with special prizes for the most impressive moves.
