Welcome About this project Help

There are several ways to enjoy The Revolutionaries. Here are the basic features:

To return back to this page at any time, select "Help."

Moving around & reading

To enter an interview, click on the "Enter" button or click one of the pictures in the Revolutionaries opening page.

The interviews are divided into sections. To move through the interview sequentially to the end, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select "Next."

If you want to jump around in the interview, use the pull-down menu at the top of the interview page. Pull down the menu to the question topic you want, and select "go to."

To get back to the Revolutionaries page, and to see other interview choices, select "Revolutionaries."

Feedback

If you only want to send e-mail or read feedback from other readers, select "Feedback."

Playing the puzzles

You can also do games and puzzles in the interviews by selecting the puzzle button. To do these puzzles online you need a java-compatible browser, such as Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer. If you're browser does not support Java, you can still print the puzzle and solve it off line.

QuickTime VR tours at Mercury Center

Selecting this will take you to a special section of Merc Center, the online version of The San Jose Mercury News . If you would like to take a QuickTime VR tour of the office of the person interviewed each week, visit Mercury Center at http://www.sjmercury.com/revolutionaries. Instructions for how to get and use QuickTime VR will be provided.
