Carla Siqueiros, 18, a senior at Mt. Pleasant High School is editor-in-chief of the school paper and plans to major in communications when she attends college next year. She also participated in Mock Trial, a countywide competition in which teams from various high schools try a case and act as witnesses and attorneys. She was the prosecuting attorney for her team which had an 8-1 record this year.

For enrichment, Carla takes ballet and piano lessons and enjoys hiking and biking. She has a favorite saying that she writes on letters that "captures the way I see the future."
