Robot with scale CASE #1: ROBOTS IN THE WORKPLACE

The year is 1996. A local factory employs 850 people. Because of strong competition and a slow economy, the owner must make some changes in order to stay competitive. The owners of the factory decide to "automate" parts of the factory. This would mean firing 80 workers, and purchasing an advanced system of 10 robots.

These robots would handle dangerous chemicals. Although the factory has high safety standards, people in this part of the factory get sick or injured more often than their co-workers.
