The year is 1999. A microchip factory has been robbed by armed thieves twice in the past year. The loss of equipment, computers, and chips has cost the factory millions of dollars. Although no one has been killed in the robberies, 2 security guards have been hurt; one of them seriously. The company decides it must increase security at the plant, or risk losing the trust of their workers and investors.

After investigating many options, the owners purchase 2 "sentry robots." These security robots are programmed to patrol the factory on a set course.
