The network of blood vessels running through your body is the system that connects the different parts of the cardiovascular system together. It's sometimes called the Tubular Circulation System.

As a general rule, arteries carry blood away from the heart (filled with oxygen) and veins carry blood back to the heart (filled with carbon dioxide and other cell wastes).
