Choose one of the elements on the Periodic Table and create a fun and educational way to teach it to your classmates (skit, poster, rap, video, power point presentation, etc.).

 

Step 1: Research
Choose one of the elements in the Periodic Table and find out:
• What is the element's symbol?
• What is this element's atomic number?
• When was the element discovered?
• Who discovered it?
• How did the element get its name?
• What are some of its properties? (color, form, odor . . . )
• What are some of the element's common uses?
• Where is this element found?

 

Step 2: Be creative
Select a way to teach what you learned to your classmates. Be sure you include all of the information that you researched.

Step 3: Share
Present the information to the class.
