The Fish

The blue fish represents the Northern Pike.

The yellow fish represents the native fish for the Extra Challenge.

Both fish are approximately 4" long, 3" high, and 1" wide. They are differentiated by color as well as a slight variation in the fins. The fish must be submerged for a few seconds so they fill with water and float upright. They are positively buoyant, which means they float at the top of the water.

Each registered team will be given a package of sample fish, which includes one blue pike, and two yellow native fish. You may pick up your sample at any workshop, clinic, or test trial. Or you may come to the museum during normal business hours and pick up your sample at the main ticket counter.
