Melissa Duran

Hoover Middle School

Melissa Duran is in her third year of teaching 6th and 7th grade Science at Hoover Middle School in San Jose. She grew up in the Bay Area and attended San Jose State University, where she received degrees in Psychology and Biology. Creating and revising class curricula is a challenge that Melissa enjoys. Melissa is looking forward to collaborating with The Tech to further connect the students of San Jose Unified with the museum and its wealth of resources.
