Blast through space, scale the top of Everest, and dive into the South Pacific's coral reef at The Tech Museum's Fourth Annual International IMAX Film Festival October 28 – 30. Fifteen IMAX films ranging from new releases to popular classics will be featured over the course of three days.
"The Tech's IMAX Film Festival has grown into a true celebration of this amazing film format, and an opportunity for viewers to experience different adventures all across the globe," said Wes Wenhardt, The Tech's Vice President of IMAX and Business Development. About the Hackworth IMAX Dome
Unlike traditional theaters, the state-of-the-art Hackworth IMAX Dome Theater introduces an eight-story, giant domed screen and six-channel, digital wrap-around sound with 12,000 watts of power from 44 speakers. The Hackworth Theater seats 295 people in unique reclining chairs that enhance the feeling of actually being in the movie.

Tickets to The Tech's IMAX Film Festival are $8 for general admission, children and seniors. For Tech Museum members, tickets are $5 for general admission, children and seniors. Advance tickets purchase is recommended.
