Meet the inspiring people behind the pioneering innovations used to create a more humane, just and sustainable world. Spend some one-on-one time with this year's 15 Laureates and learn about their inspiring technologies during The Tech Awards Showcase, the public exhibition of projects that address global issues on the environment, economic development, education, equality and health.
The Tech Awards Showcase is meant to help raise public awareness of pressing global challenges while recognizing the outstanding work of the Laureates whose technological innovations are meant for the betterment of humanity.
The Tech Awards Showcase takes place on the morning of the international awards show, The Tech Awards, a signature program of The Tech Museum. Each year, the Laureates are honored at a formal evening Gala where they are recognized onstage and presented with an award trophy to celebrate their accomplishment. One Laureate in each award category receives a $50,000 cash prize. Nobel Laureate and former Vice President Al Gore will also be honored during the evening ceremony.
