Seaquence (2009) is an experiment in musical composition based on 16x16 step-sequencers visualized as swimming life forms. The unique sound and timing of each creature results in layered harmonies and rhythms. Groups of life forms swim in concert, resulting in dynamic, layered soundscapes. Use the touchscreen to create and interact with your own creatures. Touch to toggle notes on the grid, and drag knobs and envelopes of the creature’s waveform body to design its unique melody.
