Stepping Tones (2014) is a multiplayer instrument for creating and exploring musical loops and patterns. Hit a drum pad to trigger a sound and send its visual marker traveling around the projection-mapped track; once that marker completes the loop, the sound plays again. Press the numbered buttons to select from four banks of music for each song. Clear the loop to start anew. Up to four participants can play together to create a collaborative, looping, audiovisual composition.
