Maker: Aviva Raskin, San Francisco, CA
Bloxes, as the name suggests, are a cross between cardboard boxes and building blocks. Each blox has a series of notches that interlock with other bloxes. You can create surprisingly strong walls and furniture as well as expressive sculptures with Bloxes.
How Does It Work
Bloxes are created from six identical, laser-cut sheets of cardboard. You snap Bloxes together by inserting the protruding notches on one Blox into the indentations of another Blox.
