Jill Wolfson

A journalist and the mother of two, Jill has written about the genetic engeneering of food crops in Silicon Valley, deep-sea treasure hunting in Florida and religious cults in Oregon.

She was a reporter for the San Jose Mercury News from 1982-1986, and previouslyworked as a reporter and editor in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Her fiction writing for children has appeared in Jack and Jill magazine. Currently she reviews books for middle grade and young adult readers for the Mercury News. She is co-author of the recently published non-fiction book, "Somebody Else's Children -- The Courts, the Kids, the Struggle to Save America's Troubled Families" (Crown, Jan. 1997).
