Arpeggionome (2013) is an expressive instrument that invites individuals to playfully explore the arpeggio*. Experiment with the buttons and knobs to design intricate patterns of notes, then slide your finger across the central control pad to play those patterns back at different speeds and pitches, visualized in real time on a virtual piano keyboard.
*An arpeggio is a musical technique, where notes in a chord are played in sequence, one after the other, rather than ringing out simultaneously.
