Vice President, Development
Maria Pappas has been the Vice President of Development at The Tech Museum of Innovation since June of 2012. She has 25 years of nonprofit experience, having spent most of her career at the American Heart Association in various roles including: Senior Business Development Director, Deputy Executive Director, and Executive Director. She received degrees in Psychology and Sociology from UCLA, has received numerous awards, and is active in the local community as a volunteer. Maria is thrilled to be a part of The Tech and grateful to all the dedicated donors and volunteers that support our mission to inspire the innovator in everyone.
Co-Founder and Director of Sponsorships, The Tech Awards
Raising money for The Tech since 1989, Dick King has served in numerous positions over the years. He focuses his efforts on The Tech Awards which he co-founded. Dick received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Earlham College and served in the Peace Corps.
Corporate Relations Director
Linda Antonopoulos brings both nonprofit fundraising and corporate sales experience to her position at The Tech Museum of Innovation. She is a lifelong San Jose resident and has served as the Development Director at St. Christopher School, Executive Director at Archbishop Mitty High School and as a Pharmaceutical Medical Representative for Abbott Laboratories. She is passionate about bringing quality STEM education to students from all backgrounds through corporate partnerships and inspiring innovators with The Tech's programs. Linda is a dedicated volunteer at several nonprofits in the valley and has a BS in Business and an MBA from San Jose State University.
Foundation Relations Director
Linda Tsai joins The Tech from the American Heart Association, where she successfully managed foundation giving for Northern California, as well as Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, and Montana. She has been bringing her kids to The Tech for more than 10 years. They think she works at the coolest place in the world. She has a Bachelor’s of Journalism and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia.Crystal Chow
Foundation Relations Manager
firstname.lastname@example.orgCrystal Chow is new to the world of fundraising but has years of writing and editing experience. A Southern California native, one of her first jobs out of college (B.A. in English lit from UCLA) was with Petersen Publishing in Los Angeles. After moving to the Bay Area she worked as a technical publications editor at two Silicon Valley companies before joining the San Jose Mercury News during the George H.W. Bush era. Prior to The Tech she was arts editor for the Silicon Valley Community Newspapers.
Miki Masuda joined The Tech Museum of Innovation Development Team in January 2015. She has enjoyed a professional career in the non-profit world, including a role as Manager and Athletic Trainer of the San Jose State Judo Team, Sports and Recreation Director of Calvary Church Los Gatos and nine years as an Administrative Assistant at the American Heart Association. Miki has loved getting to know The Tech Development Team members and has been impressed with their passion to raise funds, creating opportunities to inspire the innovator in everyone. Outside of work, Miki volunteers with the high school ministry at Calvary Los Gatos and enjoys the outdoors, especially golf!
