Brownies

Explore different types of robots in our Robo-Designers badge program! Brownies will have the opportunity to see different robots in action in the Robots IMAX movie, and will learn how robots imitate nature through a game about senses. Then they will brainstorm, design, prototype, and build their own robot! They will present their robots and receive feedback to complete the badge program.

• $5 goes to Girl Scouts of Northern California.
• This program includes all five steps of the Designing Robots badge. Brownies will receive their badge and a Tech Fun Patch.  

Science is all around us! Brownies begin by making pepper dance using the amazing properties of electricity. Next, they become kitchen chemists and use pantry items to make art with delicious treats. Then they explore properties of density and use them to blow up a balloon without breath and make their own lava lamp. Finally, Brownies will learn how science can be used to make toys and make their very own silly putty!
