Holiday Hat Trick - Downtown Ice, San Jose Museum of Art and The Tech
The “holiday hat trick” returns for the second time. For $25, adults can enjoy skating at Downtown Ice ($15 value), and gain admission to the San Jose Museum of Art ($8 value) and The Tech ($15 value) for $25, a savings of more than 33 percent. Pick up the “Hat Trick" vouchers at any of the three attractions. Visitors to The Tech can choose to see the museum or the museum and MythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition. Last Hour Discount
Arriving less than an hour before closing may not give you enough time to see all our activities and displays. Therefore, during the last hour of operation, general museum tickets are 50% off. This does not apply to IMAX movies, traveling exhibitions, or After Hours. If you plan on visiting again, we recommend that you upgrade your ticket to a membership and receive free admission for a full year. Membership pays for itself in about two visits.
Free Admission Community Program
Museums on Us—One Free Admission on the first full weekend every month, presented by Bank of America.
Bank of America Cardholders, get one free admission to our regular galleries (not including IMAX) when you show your Bank of America ATM credit or check card with a photo ID during the first full weekend of every month.
AAA Discount
Present your AAA card and receive $3 off an adult combo ticket (1 general museum admission and 1 educational IMAX film). For children, students, and seniors receive $2 off their combo ticket. Discount does not apply to a general museum ticket without IMAX© or with a featured film IMAX© combo.
Military Discount
We are proud to offer a discount to active duty and veteran US Military personnel and their families. Active duty US military personal can receive 1 free combo ticket (1 general museum admission with 1 educational IMAX© film). Military family members will receive $3 off each adult combo ticket and $2 off each child/student/senior combo ticket. Please present your active military ID at the ticket counter to redeem discount. For MythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition, US Military also get 1 free admission to the exhibition and $3 off each family member they take with them.
