The Tech Awards - Technology Benefiting Humanity

A signature program of The Tech Museum of Innovation, The Tech Awards is an international awards program that honors innovators from around the world who are applying technology to benefit humanity.
 

How The Tech Awards Works

The Tech Awards honors individuals, non-profit organizations and for-profit companies who are using technology to significantly improve human conditions in 6 award categories. The technology used can be either a new invention or an innovative use of an existing technology.

The Tech Challenge

A signature program of The Tech, The Tech Challenge is an annual team design challenge for students in grades 5-12 that introduces and reinforces the scientific process with a hands-on project geared to solving a real-world problem.
 
Open to students in grades 5-12, The Tech Challenge is designed to inspire the next generation of Silicon Valley innovators and provide months of team learning in science, engineering, and math. The program culminates in The Tech Challenge Event Days. Team efforts are celebrated in an awards ceremony, recognizing everything from Best Overall Solution to Most Spectacular Failure.
 

Steve Young–Jerry Rice Golf Tournament

Funds raised by Steve Young - Jerry Rice Golf Tournament benefit The Tech, the Forever Young Foundation, and their 8 to 80 Zones. The Tech is honored to be one of the beneficiaries of this event and to join the Forever Young Foundation as we provide support to children from under-served communities.
