Join us for Wolves Weekend, a celebration of science, storytelling and the resilient power of nature. Experience Lost Wolves of Yellowstone in IMAX, a breathtaking film that captures the awe-inspiring reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone after a 50-year absence.

On Saturday, meet award-winning director Thomas Winston, who will be on site for live Q&A sessions following the 12:30 p.m. screening and will also be available throughout the day to talk filmmaking, conservation and the untamed spirit of the pack. He will be joined by Amy Gotliffe, VP of Conservation at The Oakland Zoo.

Plus, don’t miss The Big Howl, immediately following the Q&A on Saturday. Bring your best howl, join the pack, and raise your voice for the wild. Ears provided by Great Wolf Lodge!

All weekend long, explore hands-on activities, connect with local conservation partners, and discover how one species reshaped an entire ecosystem.

Catch a screening of our new IMAX film “Lost Wolves of Yellowstone” all weekend long!

Lost Wolves of Yellowstone unearths one of the most daring wildlife experiments in American history—the reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone National Park after a 50-year absence. Told through long-lost 16mm archival footage, the film captures the tense early days of the project as a small group of Canadian wolves, held in acclimation pens, prepared to reclaim a wilderness that had nearly forgotten them. As biologists fought legal battles and public outrage outside the park gates, the wolves faced their own fight for survival within. What unfolds is a visceral, real-time portrait of ecological rebirth, political resistance, and the untamed spirit of nature given one final chance to return home.
