Cal EnviroScreen 4.0

CalEnviroScreen 4.0 is an interactive mapping tool created by the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment. It brings together environmental, health, and socioeconomic data to highlight communities that face the greatest pollution burdens and related challenges.
Students and educators can use this tool to explore how environmental conditions vary across California. It allows users to investigate issues like air quality, water safety, and hazardous waste, alongside factors such as income levels and health outcomes. This tool supports learning about environmental justice, using data to ask questions, and identifying areas that may benefit from community action or policy change.
