General Admission to The Tech Interactive is $38 (Includes admission +1 Educational IMAX film) for adults and $28 for children (3-17), students, and seniors (65+) (Includes admission +1 Educational IMAX film). Members receive unlimited general admission to The Interactive for a year and a free educational IMAX film on every visit! Check your membership benefits for details.

We recommend buying tickets in advance. Advance reservations can be made online on our ticketing site.

Please bring your voucher to the ticket counter when you arrive and we will process it into an admission entry.

Give the gift of innovation for a special occasion! Gift certificates to The Tech Interactive are available for purchase here. Gift certificates can be used for general admission and IMAX films, to purchase a membership or to purchase a virtual lab for a class.

We love birthdays and parties! We have a few options available for birthday party packages. Please visit our birthday party page for more information and to book your event.

Absolutely! We can host everything from product launches, meetings, fundraisers, proms, reunions and even weddings! Our special events team is happy to help you create your event. For bookings and availability visit our special events page.

Almost 90% of San Jose public schools bring children to The Tech Interactive for a field trip every year. We offer several options depending on the grade level. The Tech Interactive also offers reduced or complimentary access to Title I schools. We love animals here at The Tech Interactive, but due to health and safety regulations only service animals are allowed inside the building. We do have a dog-friendly patio at The Tech Cafe for your furry family members.

We strongly suggest you do not leave valuables in your car during your visit. In order to help, we have lockers available for guests. Lockers are located in the Lobby near the Information Desk. 

With so many hands-on activities it’s easy to misplace something! Our Lost and Found is located at the Information Desk or you can call our Visitor Services team at 1-408-294-8324.

Yes, we do allow personal use of photography and video inside the galleries. For media or promotional shoots, please contact Katie Barrow, Sr. Manager, PR & Marketing Communications, at kbarrow@thetech.org.

We also offer a Sensory Guide and Social Story to help inform visitors what sensory challenges they may face while visiting an unfamiliar location. These resources are also available in our Sensory Backpacks which can be borrowed by anyone who needs additional support while visiting The Tech.

The Tech Interactive is ADA Compliant and we do offer complimentary wheelchairs for use during your visit. Please reach out in advance to ensure we have one available during your visit. Contact our Visitor Services team at 1-408-294-8324. Wheelchairs may be checked out at the Information Desk. Please bring ID.
