Discounts & Promotions
Admission fees support the mission of The Tech and its educational programs and activities, however we believe in providing access to all! There are several “Free” days at The Tech Interactive throughout the year as well as other discounts and promotions intended to ensure access for all of our community members.
Become a Member
Become a member and visit an unlimited number of times throughout the year. Membership pays for itself in just two visits.
The following discounts must be redeemed in person and are not available online:
Last-hour discount
Arrive during the final hour before closing and receive a discounted rate on a general admission ticket.
Museums on Us
Bank of America members with a valid ATM credit or check card and photo ID can get one free general admission ticket (galleries only).
Military & Veterans
The Tech is proud to honor members of the U.S. Armed Forces by offering special admission benefits throughout the year.
Active-duty military, Veterans, National Guard, Reserve personnel, and Retirees with a valid military ID receive the following.
Year Round Military Discount
Free general admission (galleries only). Additional guests within the party receive $5 off adult admission and $3 off child, student, and senior admission.
Summer (May-September)
Free general admission (galleries only), and up to five family members receive free general admission as part of the national Blue Star Museum program.
