Mike and Joan Hackworth
A stunning landmark in downtown San Jose, the IMAX Dome Theater at The Tech is named for Mike and Joan Hackworth who contributed the first $1 million individual gift to The Tech's Capital Campaign in 1992. Mike Hackworth is past Chairman of The Tech's Board of Directors and the founder and former CEO of Cirrus Logic Inc. in Fremont, CA.
