Media Alert:

California’s Largest Domino Setup Ever to Topple at The Tech Interactive on July 19

What:

It’s back and bigger than ever. The Tech Topple 2025 returns to The Tech Interactive for its 10th anniversary with a jaw-dropping kinetic build: a giant escape room made entirely of 50,000 dominoes and 250 chain reaction machine steps. This year's theme, “Think Outside the Box,” transforms an immersive puzzle adventure into a spectacular chain reaction—designed to solve itself, then collapse in one breathtaking cascade.

Why It Matters:

This STEAM-powered spectacle is California’s largest live kinetic art build, bringing engineering, creativity, and collaboration into the spotlight. Visitors of all ages will get a front-row seat to real-world problem solving in action, plus the chance to try their own hand at domino design in public workshops led by the pros. This year’s topple is presented by The Tech Interactive and Signia by Hilton.

Who:

Led by professional YouTuber and kinetic artist Alex Huang (AKA Flash Domino), the Reactica team includes 15 builders from across North America with amazing resumes, including:

Alex Huang (Flash Domino) – Producer of Domino Masters on FOX, two-time Guinness World Record holder, known for mastering both dominoes and chain reaction machines

Lyle Broughton – Winner of Domino Masters Season 1, engineering mastermind

Joel Yantha – Canadian inventor and creator of elaborate chain reaction machines

Chase Blanchette – Chain reaction machine expert and participant on various U.S. build teams

Erez Klein & John Wickham – Former world record holders for most dominoes toppled - 1979 and 1980

Brady Dolan – 20-year-old phenom and participant/captain on many other U.S. build teams

Jade Decker – Creator of a visual archive dedicated to the art of chain reactions
