11th Annual

Join us for the Largest Live Domino and Machine Build in California July 12, 15-18!
The Great Adventure
One ball. One epic journey. 40,000 dominoes.
Tech Topple returns for its 11th year with The Great Adventure, a jaw-dropping domino engineering spectacular packed with twists, tumbles and chain-reaction surprises.
This year, expert builders will create a massive 40,000-domino contraption featuring a one-ball path. That means one very determined ball will travel all the way from start to finish as the dominoes topple, triggering approximately 300 chain reactions along the way.
The journey? Pure adventure. Watch as the ball crosses an ocean on a ship, scales a mountain, falls in an avalanche and sets off wild, wonderful moments from beginning to end. It’s part engineering feat, part kinetic artwork and one great adventure.
The Big Topple: July 18 at 1 p.m. sharp
One push. Total chaos. Extreme satisfaction.
Watch the Build. Meet the Pros. See the Topple.
From Wednesday, July 15, through Saturday, July 18, visitors can watch and interact with the expert builders during museum hours as they bring Tech Topple: The Great Adventure to life.
See the team design, test and troubleshoot the massive setup in real time, from domino fields and ramps to the one-ball path that will carry a tiny but mighty ball across oceans, up mountains, through avalanches and into approximately 300 chain reactions.
Then comes the big moment: one push, one path and 40,000 dominoes falling in a spectacular adventure from start to finish.
Don’t Miss The Big Topple!
Be sure to join us at The Tech Interactive on Saturday, July 18 for the ultimate destruction. You’ll want to see the action in person to see if the build team can make chain reaction history. The topple starts at 1 p.m.; seating is first-come, first-served; and the experience is included with admission!
