Now Booking for 2026-2027 Field Trips!
You can now reserve your field trip date online! A $100 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation, regardless of Title I status. This deposit will be applied toward the final cost of your field trip. Once your reservation and deposit have been received, a Group Reservations Specialist will contact you withinfive business days to finalize your booking and discuss any additional experiences you'd like to add. If you would like to arrange an alternative payment method, please contact us at groupreservations@thetech.org or call (408) 294-8324, option 3.

The Tech has updated our school field trip operating schedule for the 2026-2027 school year. School field trips available Sept. 2, 2026 - June 4, 2027. Summer 2027 field trips available June 9, 2027 - Aug. 6, 2027

Title I Schools*
Admission: $5 per student
Hands-on Lab + Admission Combo: $10 per student; minimum of 20 and maximum of 32 students required. Available Sept. 4, 2025 - June 5, 2026
IMAX + Admission combo: $10 per student, $6 per chaperone
Hands-on Lab + IMAX + Admission Combo: $15 per student
Non-Title I Schools
Admission: $12 per student
Hands-on Lab + Admission Combo: $18 per student; minimum of 20 and maximum of 32 students required. Available Sept. 4, 2025 - June 5, 2026
IMAX + Admission Combo: $17 per student, $6 per chaperone
Hands-on Lab + IMAX + Admission Combo: $25 per student
Summer Educational Programs
Admission: $12 per child*
IMAX + Admission Combo: $17 per student, $6 per chaperone
Hands-on Lab: N/A
*If cost is a barrier, there may be support available. Reach out for more details.
Important Details
* If 40% or more of the students in your program meet the federal guidelines for free or reduced-price lunch, you are eligible for this discount.
- Payment is due three (3) weeks after your reservation is confirmed
- Please ensure your student counts are accurate. No refunds will be issued for unused general admission and IMAX tickets.
