This July, We're Celebrating You.
As a token of our gratitude for your dedication and hard work, we're offering FREE admission for all educators plus three guests every Thursday in July. Here’s your chance to explore at your own pace without having to worry about chaperones, schedules, or getting back to school on time!
Tickets can be redeemed at the box office. All you need is a valid school ID or any identification that you belong to an educational organization to enjoy. Admission does not include special events or educational IMAX films. Add-on tickets for educational IMAX can be purchased for $6 per person.

From Field Trips to Teaching Tools—Discover It All

Join us for The Tech Interactive's Educator Open House and discover the many ways we can support learning both inside and outside the classroom. Whether you're planning an unforgettable field trip, looking for hands-on STEM experiences, seeking professional development opportunities, or exploring new resources for your students, there's something for every educator.
Get a preview of what's available for the 2026–2027 school year while connecting with fellow educators and The Tech's education team. Throughout the morning, you'll have the opportunity to experience a variety of our programs and offerings, including:
- Our newest IMAX educational film: Elephants: Giants of the Desert
- Professional development opportunities
- Science Lab programs
- New exhibits and experiences
- Field trip resources
- And much more!
Educators may bring up to three guests. Proof of current educator status (school ID, CTA card, district badge, etc.) is required at check-in.
The film preview will start promptly at 10 am. Check-in and light breakfast refreshments will be available starting at 9:30 am at our main entrance on Market St. Educators who attend the film preview will have a chance to be entered in a drawing for fun Tech prizes, including a free science lab for their students (valued up to $575)!
