The Tech Interactive is located in the heart of downtown San Jose at the corner of Park Avenue and Market Street, near Interstate 280 and Highway 87. Our mango and azure building is hard to miss!
Parking Garages
- San Jose McEnery Convention Center (150 W. San Carlos St.): Weekday and weekend validation.
- 2nd and San Carlos Garage (288 S. 2nd St.): Weekday and weekend validation.
Bring your parking ticket to The Tech for validation. Parking at these garages is not free and is only discounted with validation. Additional non-validated parking is also available downtown. To ensure you receive the validated price, pay at the machine before you exit the gate.

Public transportation
The Tech Interactive is conveniently located next to VTA stops for both the light rail and the bus.
The Tech Interactive is less than a 20-minute walk from the San Jose Diridon Station (65 Cahill St.).
Amtrak’s Capitol Corridor rail system connects with a number of transit networks to make car-free travel easy.
From the Fremont BART station, take the VTA Express Bus 181 and disembark at Almaden Avenue and San Fernando Street. The Tech Interactive is a short walk from there.
For visitors coming from the Central Valley, The Tech Interactive is a short walk from the ACE rail station.
