Reactable was originally developed by the Music Technology group, and allows you to create music by placing cubes on an interactive tabletop. Each block is programmed and imprinted with a barcode like image called a fiducial. The fiducial is scanned by an infrared light when it is placed on the table by a computer which is located inside the table. Each code is associated with a specific sound.
